Obituary of Patricia M Pisarek

It is with great sadness the family of Pattie Pisarek announce her passing on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at age 67 at St. Joseph's Hospital with family and her significant other by her side.

Pattie was born on October 19, 1952 in Syracuse ; she was predeceased by parents Frank and Julia(Kulba)Pisarek and her nephew Gary Dixie.
She graduated from West Genesee High School class of 1970 and recv'd a 2yr degree from Powelson Business Institute; she was employed at Upstate Medical Center for approximately 40yrs as a Medical Secretary beginning her journey in Clinical Pathology Dept; moved on to Physiology Dept with her final 21years in Pharmacology Dept before retiring from full time work in Sept 2009.
Pattie was always willing to help anyone who needed it; she loved cooking, winning many ribbons at the Great NYS Fair,  camping at Brennan's Beach and crafting.
A special Thank You to cousin Mary Ann for your support and comfort you showed us and Pattie; so appreciated.
Survivors are: Best friend and twin Sister Julie Dixie; brothers Bob Pisarek and Tom Pisarek; significant other John Borczuk; nieces Stephanie, Jenna, Alex; great nephews Anthony and Tyler; great niece Kida and her Canine Companion Sasha; as well as many cousins.
Due to the Pandemic there are no calling hours but there will be a celebration of her life along with Sister in law Sandy Pisarek who passed away in March 13, 2020, at a later date.
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to The Helping Hounds Dog Rescue in her honor.
