January 21, 2016 Sophie Zubrowski 92 of Syracuse passed away Thursday. Sophie was a communicant of Sacred Heart Basilica. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander 1999 and son, Teddy 2010. Sophie is survived by her daughter-in-law, Barbara Zubrowski; 3 granddaughters, Melissa(Leo) McCormick, Tammy(Dariusz) Kordas and Sara( Dr. David) Arndt; 4 great grandchildren, Alexandra and Hannah McCormick and Sophia and Darius Kordas; Sister, Hedwig Popielarski; nieces and nephews. Visitation : Tuesday 8:30 to 9:15 AM Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee St Syracuse. Funeral Service: Tuesday 10 AM Sacred Heart Basilica. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes.
