Obituary of Craig S. Thomas

Craig S. Thomas of Syracuse passed away December 2nd at the age of 54 surrounded by family. Craig worked at the CNYDDSO for 27 years, a job he loved. Craig considered the individuals he cared for as family and they loved him too. Craig was also a proud veteran after serving in the U.S. army for five years and was a volunteer firefighter in the Clay Fire Dept. for several years. He was passionate about sports especially the Syracuse Orange and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Craig is survived by his daughter, Brittany, son, Barrett, wife, Christina (Tina), his parents, Shirley and Bob Daniels, three sisters, Linnie (John) Whitaker, Laurie Thomas, and Missy (Joe)Jones, Step-brother Erik Daniels, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and his beloved grandson Isaac. Calling Hours: Tuesday 1 to 4PM with Services following at Hollis Funeral Home, 1105 W. Genesee St., Syracuse. Craig’s body was donated to the Anatomical Gift Program at Upstate Medical Hospital for Anatomical Research.
