Obituary of Linda M. Phillips

October 26, 2013 Linda M Phillips, 74, of Baldwinsville, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013. She was born in Geneva, New York on December 17, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Donald C. and Virginia Ruth Yackel. Linda graduated from SUNY Institute of Technology in Utica with a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications. Her husband, Gordon R. Phillips, predeceased her in 1982. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jean M. (Richard) O’Neill of Syracuse, NY, her son, Cristopher G. (Lynda) Phillips of Portland, OR, two stepdaughters, Denise (Spruce) Griffith of Granbury, TX and Terry D. (Ken) Duffy, of Estero, FL, two sisters, Donna Witkowski of Liverpool, NY, Lucinda Stevens of Richmond VA, a granddaughter, Michelle J. O’Neill of Roanoke, VA, and six step grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, 22 Syracuse St, Baldwinsville, NY at 4 PM October 29, 2013.
