Obituary of Kathleen Kearns Wiktorek

November 2, 2013 Kathleen Mary Kearns Walker Wiktorek went to meet the Lord on November 2, 2013. Raised in Westvale, NY, she was the second of five daughters born to John and Margaret Kearns. After graduating Cathedral Academy, she attended Central City Business Institute and graduated with a Legal Secretarial Diploma. Kathleen is survived by her husband, Robert J. Wiktorek of Whitney Point, NY; his daughters; Lori (Scott) Wasmund and Deborah (Roy) Normandin, both of Whitney Point NY and his granddaughter, Alesha Wasmund (Kris) Brown of Baldwinsville, NY. Kathleen has three sons by her first husband, Paul L. Walker; John K. Walker (Jill) of Morrisville, NC; Paul C. Walker (Michele) of Washington, DC; and Matthew P. Walker also of Washington, DC. She is also survived by her two grandsons, James Riley Walker and Shawn William Walker of Washington, DC. Kathleen is survived by sisters, Patricia (Thomas) Schlueter of Radisson; Susan M. Blumer of Radisson; Mary Ann (Thom) McAneney of Hutchinson Island, FL; and Mary Jane McCarthy of Collierville, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Kathleen held several secretarial positions. After she retired, she worked part-time as Parish Secretary at Most Holy Rosary Church in Maine, NY. Friends may pay their respects from 9 to 11 AM with a Funeral Mass following at Most Holy Rosary Church 2596 Main Street (Route 26) Maine NY on Friday, November 8th , 2013. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
