Obituary of Philip E Broton

Philip E. Broton, 84, of Lakeland, NY passed away peacefully Monday, October 8th with his loved ones beside him.  He retired from Salt City Printing after a long career with Estabrook Printing.  His first passion was spending time with his family and especially his Grandchildren.  He would light up the room when he walked in with his larger than life smile and his silly jokes.  He loved golfing, bowling, playing cards, taking pictures of family & friends, cooking and fixing things.  He was a devoted Catholic and was proud of his Polish Catholic traditions.  He was a member of Lakeland Geddes Seniors, Holy Name Society & Solvay-Geddes Athletic Center.  

Phil was predeceased by his parents Eugene & Mary, his son Stephen & his brothers Chester, Erwin & David.  He is survived by J. Shirley, his loving wife of 65 years, his daughters Linda & Karen, son Michael, grandchildren John, Matthew, Christopher, Michael, Emily, Stephanie & Sydney & several nieces & nephews.

Calling hours are Friday 4pm - 7pm at Hollis Funeral Home, 1105 West Genesee St, Syr., with a funeral mass Saturday 9:30am at Our Lady of Peace Church, Lakeland.
