Wladyslaw Kempinski , who  passed away Sunday was born in Jankowice,Poland on January 1 1946. He emigrated to the United States in 1984. While working for Speno Rail Services for 4 years, he was able to visit 48 states. He spent the remaining 18 working years at Plainville Turkey Farm before retiring. 

 

Wladyslaw aka Wally was known to all his friends as hard working and resourceful. His hobbies included cooking creative polish dishes, splitting wood,  and gardening.

 

Wally is survived by his wife, Helena Kempinska of Baldwinsville; daughter, Justyna Valencia, son-in-law Matthew Valencia and granddaughter, Ava Valencia of Cicero; Sister, Stanislawa Mazur of Poland and brother Julian Kempinski of Glasgow. 

 

Calling hours: Friday 4 to 7PM Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee St Syracuse. Funeral Services: Saturday 9:30AM in Sacred Heart Basilica. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lakeland.
