Celestine A Smith 97 passed away peacefully on Sunday November 17, 2019. She was born on April 27,1922 in Oswego NY to the late Adrian and Agnes Fanning.

She was predeceased by her son Paul Smith and her brother David Fanning.

She is survived by her daughters Judy Catalfino (Vinny), Patricia Smith and Jeanne OBrien (Bill) also her sons John Studer (Peggy) and Ronald Smith (Dawn) and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Mary Dougherty, Kevin Fanning and Kathryn Fanning.

The family would like to thank the nurses of 7 Memorial and Peter Sinatra at Crouse Hospital for the care and love they showed Mom (Gram) in her last days. You were all so wonderful to her.We know she felt the love you surrounded her with.

Also to Sam Warner, a special thank you for always being there for her. She loved when you came to visit with her and held her hand then gently kissed it. You always made her feel very special.
