Carol and family. I am deeply saddened to learn of Richard's passing. As you know we grew up together on the north side. As we grew older we both went our separate ways. I have thought often about him and did make contact on facebook a few times. Please accept our Prayers and Condolences. Rich was a good friend and will be missed by many.

Richard certainly "did it his way" but always was so caring and protective of those in his acquaintance. Time has a way of rushing away before you do the things you wanted to. Our saddest is because of the opportunities we had but missed to spend time with Richard and Carol

My deepest condolences to the family. I worked with Rich at Niagara Mohawk and am so sorry to learn of his passing. He was one of a kind and the reference to "my way" is so appropriate. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Hold on to the good memories.

Rich was a co-worker of mine at National Grid for many Years and also golfed with my husband a few times. After retirement, Rich took the time to keep up via e-mail with other retirees and previous co-workers sharing stories that he would run across through his day which were a joy to receive. He had a great personality! Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I am sorry to learn of Richard's passing. We were stationed together at Hopsten Air Base Germany. I remember both Richard and his wife Carol. Richard was one of the first in the detachment's cadre and played an important role in activating Det 3, 50 TFW. He was a dedicated worker and very personable. All of us who knew him there are saddened by his loss.

Daddy, I am heartbroken you are gone but I know you are in heaven and no longer in pain. Thank you for being the best father a girl could ask for. We shared so many memories and music and I will carry you with me always. You will always be my Herbie and I will always be your Ralph.
