Obituary of Julia F Moore

Julia (Judy Pierson) Moore 83, formerly of Warners died Wednesday May 12^th at home. Born September 20, 1937 in Mattydale, Judy was the daughter of John and Margaret (Hornbrook) Pierson who predeceased her.

She was a graduate of Solvay High School 1955. Judy married Carlton L. Moore on January 25, 1975, the Rev. Herbert Gordon officiating at the First United Methodist Church of Liverpool. Mr. Moore was the founder of Carl’s Engine and Mower Service of Warners. Judy enjoyed traveling, camping, quilting, reading, casino trips, genealogy, her osteo group and most of all her family. The Moores spent their winters in Florida for many years. Surviving beside her husband, are two daughters, Sharon (John) Valerio and Holly (Joseph) Burroughs; a son, Richard (Joanna) Louise; two stepchildren, Carolyn Cooper (Michael) and Terrence Moore (Tammy); grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. A brother, Harold Pierson, predeceased her in 1988.

Interment will be at Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Anderson Garden Section, at a later date
