Obituary of Richard Charles Nares

Richard C. Nares 84 of Locke, NY passed away June 15th after a long hard fought battle with Dementia.

Richard was born and raised in Mansfield Pa. He graduated from Mansfield University with a degree in education and went on to get his Masters Degree from SUNY Cortland. Richard (Dick) taught Global Studies in Moravia NY until retiring. Richard also worked at Fillmore Golf Club in Moravia, NY for many years. He took great pride in his work and kept the course in beautiful shape.

Richard is survived by Siblings: Jack (Pat) of Mansfield Pa, Donald of Rochester NY and Bonnie (Dave) of Gettysburg Pa, Sons Timothy (Lisa) of Shrewsbury Ma, Terry (Lynn) of Syracuse NY, Christopher (Debbie) of Auburn NY and Brandon (Ashley) of Auburn NY, Daughters Rachael of Hamburg Pa and Leanna of Unions Springs NY.  Partner in crime and best friend Lorie Tvaroha, Locke, NY.  Richard is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
