Obituary of Gary L Bradley

Gary L. Bradley, of Hastings, born in Syracuse on July 11, 1948, to Louis and Lorraine (Hajski) Bradley, passed away on July 17, 2021, at Francis House.

A graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, SUNY Canton, with additional studies at Syracuse University, Gary held various positions as sales engineer and in executive management at Hoffman & Clarkson Industries, Midstate Industrial Supply, and Taubert Electric.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing; spending time in the Adirondack Mountains and at the St. Lawrence River; reminiscing about Sacred Heart basketball and baseball with his parochial league family; cutting the grass, riding the tractor, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends for his direct, dry wit, and tan pants.

He is survived by his lovely wife of over 51 years, Kathleen O’Connor, favorite daughter, Michelleanne of California, favorite son, Scott Lawrence (Kelly), the lights of his life, who called him Dziadzi: granddaughters Morgan Louise, Ava Ann, and grandson Cashel Lawrence all of Arizona; mother-in-law Eleanor LaManche O’Connor of Syracuse, and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held Friday  9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Basilica Syracuse.
