Obituary of Walter John Szczypien

Walter John Szczypien 83 of Baldwinsville passed away Saturday October 30^th. Walter was the owner of Guido’s Food Market for 40 Years, he attended Central High School and was a parishioner of Holy Cross Polish Catholic Church where in his younger years served as an Altar Boy. Walt loved boating, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling and always enjoyed a good party. Walter Served with the USMC Reserve.

Walt was predeceased by his parents John and Sophie Szczypien. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kay (Keysor) Szczypien; sister, Dr. Jean M. Szczypien of New York City and many cousins.

Visitation: Wednesday 10 to 11AM with a Funeral Mass following at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lakeland.

Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Lakeland.
