Obituary of Martyn Rivera

Martyn Rivera passed in peace Friday Oct. 29, 2021 at the age of 76 in Syracuse, NY. A U.S. Army Veteran, Martyn was the husband of Lydia Lopez. They shared 54 years of marriage/partnership. Born in Bronx, NY on August 13, 1945.He was the son of Martin Rivera Elias and Mercedes Lebron Vazquez. He attended school and graduated in Guayama, PR. He worked most of his life as a skilled welder in the U.S. He is survived by one sister, Delia Rodriguez, his children Martin Rivera Lopez and Ursula Smith (Todd), his grandchildren Martin Rivera, Jackie Rivera, Jocelyn Smith, Mckenzie Smith, and Logan Smith, his great grandchildren Aubrianna Rivera, Aaliyah Rivera, and Jaylani. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, his eldest son Emilio Rivera, and one sister Mercedes Badillo.

Memorial services will be held privately in Guayama, PR.
