Some of my fondest memories of High School were in 'Mr. Scmidt's' woodworking classes. He'd let me work in the shop after hours while my future wife sat and watched. I followed his lead and went to college majoring in Industrial Arts. May you rest in Peace. My condolences to all your family. Jeff Campbell

Kurt and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Schmidt. He was an important part of my life growing up as my Scoutmaster. Scouting was a great experience and he gave me a love for hiking. He will be dearly missed. Bob Kuba

Dear Schmidt Family, Our sincere condolences. Gordy was remembering Boy Scout camping and Dave’s famous German potatoes, pretty black sometimes. Going to church at Argyle Presbyterian is another fond memory. Dave always had a smile and often a joke or a story. May God comfort and support you on your grief journey.
