The first babysitter I ever remember having was Jim. We were living on South Ave in the city at the time and he would help us with our remote-control race car set, which included placing the cars back on the track when they would go out of control. Kate & I have fond memories of the parties that he would have at his beach. It's where Kate met most of the Wheeler family. Jim was one of my favorite car guys, and I remember those Road Runners that he would show up in, they were awesome! He was a kind & gentle soul to me when I was growing up. May he rest in peace, and may the good Lord grant him eternal rest. Our deepest condolences to his children, grandchildren, siblings and all of their family members.

When we think of Jimmy Wheeler, we remember Jimmy's Beach (In our memories the sun always shown back in those days). A big warm smile. And beautiful eyes that popped wide open when he expressed a thought (lol, every thought) and followed it with laughter. Rest in peace Jimmy. Or maybe rest loudly(?) with your Plymouth Roadrunners and Corvette and Chevelle and all the other muscle cars you had in your photo album of "befores" and "afters"
