May 14, 2014 Joseph N. Sikorski, 85, formerly of Memphis, NY and Canastota, NY, currently of New Port Richey, FL, passed away on May 14, 2014 surrounded by his family, joining his friends and polka buddies in heaven. Joe retired as General Foreman for New Process Gear division of Chrysler, Syracuse. He served in the National Guard and was a past member of Memphis Volunteer Fire Dept., Chrysler Camping Club and Holiday Polish Home, and was a Little League baseball coach. Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, polka dancing, fishing and his farm. He also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, Europe, the Caribbean and Mexico. Joe is survived by his wife of 63 years, Frances; 5 daughters, Jane (Reid) Steel, Susan (Jasiu) Klocek, Cindy (Harvey) Keebler, Linda (Kris) Boronczyk, Lorraine (Myron) Parkolap; son Joseph, Jr. (Hazell), grandchildren Bob (Nichole) Steel, Lisa (Derek) Bercaw, John (Toni) Klocek, Christine Klocek, Don Lee, Christa (Timothy) O’Hara, Jeffrey Simmons, and Nicholas, Alexander and Tatianna Parkolap; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Lucille Jones.
