Obituary of Michael D. Raus

Michael D. Raus, 31, passed away on July 28^th, 2022 at home. He was born in Syracuse, NY to Pamela M. Raus and James R. Raus on the 17^th Day of April in 1991.

He graduated from C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville, NY in 2009. Michael’s interests were sunrises and sunsets, long walks, nature, and love for his family and animals. He will be remembered for his smile, laugh, creative mind, and the love for his dogs.

He is survived by his mother, Pamela M. Raus of Syracuse, NY and father, James R. Raus of Syracuse, NY, three sisters, Amy Florczyk (Syracuse, NY), Ashley (Dave) McKie (Syracuse, NY), Carol (Steve) Baxter (Ashburn, VA), brother Jesse (Kathleen) Raus (Tampa, FL). Michael was an uncle to his nephews Lucas, Grant, Caden, Owen, Tyler, Mitchell, Jackson and nieces Kennedy and Emory. He is also survived by his grandmothers Helen Hayes and Annette Raus and his aunts and uncles and many cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, John J. Hayes and William J. Raus, and his beloved dog and faithful companion, Carson.
