Obituary of Katherine Pelkey

Katherine Joann (Bryant) Pelkey passed away on August 7th 2022. She was 72.

Katherine was born on March 9th 1950 in Cornwall, NY. She was the daughter of the late Douglas Lewis Bryant & Virginia Belle (Balcom) Bryant.

Kathy worked at the Wassaic Developmental Center for several years before moving to Oswego County and working for Radio Shack before she retired. Kathy loved to knit, crochet & quilting. As well growing flowers & watching the birds.

Kathy leaves behind her loving husband Christopher Pelkey. As well as her 3 children Reyna Thomas (Michael Schneider) of Fulton, NY. Jason Thomas of Dallas, NC & Glen Pelkey (Michelle) of Brewerton, NY. Her sister Monica Oney (Dave) of Volney, NY, her half brother Chris Bryant (Kelly) of from Fort Meyers, FL & her Great Uncle Lindsley Eggers (Wilma) of Wassaic, NY. Finally, Kathy is also survived by her 5 grand children Hunter Thomas, Conner Schneider, Autumn Schneider, Cadence Schneider & Gunner Pelkey. As well as nieces & nephews.

A remembrance of Kathy among family & friends will take place 4 to 8PM on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Volney Fire Station located at 3002 St Rt 3, Fulton NY 13069
