Christopher N. Attaway, 58, of Liverpool passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family. A graduate of Fowler High School ’82, SUNY Brockport ’92, and employee of Turning Stone Casino.

Christopher loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kari; his three daughters, Sarah (Tyler) of Baldwinsville, Chelsea (Seth) of Baltimore, MD, Jessica (Gerardo) of Liverpool; his sister, Manny (Jones) Slishevsky, brother, Maxwell Jones (Mary); sisters, Lori Attaway and Lynn Brennan of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren; Oakley, Seneca, and Ruthy; many nieces, nephews, and great friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Donald Attaway, mother, Frances (Henhawk) Jones; brother, Robert Jones; sisters, Beverly (Tom) Dressel, Carol “Babe” Donaldson.

Chris was a master chess player winning his middle school championship. He loved golf, blues concerts, the Philadelphia Eagles, and SU sports. He was also a speed skating national champion. Chris was most proud of his three daughters and the loving bond he shared with his wife.

The family of Chris would like to thank the doctors, staff, and caregivers at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland for their extraordinary care.
