Obituary of Irene Klodzen

Irene Klodzen, 98, passed away on November 7 at St. Camillus with her family by her side. She married the love of her life Francis at Sacred Heart Basilica in Syracuse on August 9,1947. Irene was a member of the Basilica of Sacred Heart of Jesus and  its Rosary Society and Syracuse Polish Home.  She was a volunteer at Sacred Heart bingo for over 35 years. She enjoyed bus trips, outings with her family, shopping and attending Sunday mass with her fancy hats, Irene is survived by her daughter, Linda Guerin; two granddaughters Heather and Kim Guerin; six great-grand children, Jorden,Jasmine,Jayden,Jalissa,Keriana and Jaevon; Goddaughter, Maryann Gardner and great nephew Brian Gardner, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Francis in 1966, son in law Roger Guerin 2019, her sister Jane Magdziuk 2008. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Camillus.

Funeral Services: 9:30AM Friday in The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus.
