Dear Val, we only met a few times, most recently at Tecumseh Road Apartments. It was lovely to see Barbara once again as we hadn't seen each other since we both retired from InterFaith Works. It was wonderful to have her as a colleague for so many years. I'm sorry that I never heard her sing except through Sonny's apartment door when they were rehearsing! You are in my thoughts and prayers as you adjust to her absence. Just remember that the grieving process takes its own path and time for each individual. Blessings, Rev. Roberta Yackel

To the Family of Barbara...what a wonderful person to have known...she sang like an Angel. I had really known Val and Barb for a fairly short time through our wonderful Thanksgiving celebrations with Ron and Barb. Yet I feel that you both have been a part of my life for such a long time- given the fun, camaraderie, and delightful holiday cheer that we shared as a group of friends. I treasure the times and memories and miss Barb’s charm , humor, and wonderful desserts. May this lovely lady rest in peace .

Barbara…..beautiful inside and out. She was talented, compassionate, funny, loyal, and a team player. I met her at Interfaith Works where all of the Senior Companions loved her. Well done, good and faithful servant. If there is a heaven, Barbara is there now, singing…
