Al and I met Dan and Kathy at Sacred Heart Basilica 12:00 Sunday Mass. A tradition was born when I baked and gave them a loaf or two of my delicious Polish Babka every Christmas and Easter. They loved getting it and I loved giving it! Deepest Condolences to the family. Eternal Rest Grant Unto Him O Lord. May Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him. Teresa and Alan Buczek

I worked with Danny for over twenty years at Floyd Bennet Field. He was a dear friend. He would always look out for the guys on the midnight shift: he would stop by and check on us and bring us a snack. He would always let me know when he was going back home up to Syracuse. I would always tell him to have a safe trip. He was so thoughtful. He would always ask about my son who was a police officer at the time. We kept in contact over the years particularly on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I will miss him terribly and consider him one of my closest friends.
