My father’s house was next door and we couldn’t have asked for better neighbors. Growing up I remember Jason always being happy and with a huge smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers are with Jason’s family during this difficult time.

Jason was a great guy, and fellow ball player. I remember the time we had tryouts, him and I were competing for the same position (2nd) base. And he point blank said to me this won’t be easy and I’ll get this spot. Sure enough he got it and I was playing 1st base instead. He was a great leader on the field and made us all feel comfortable with him acting like a clown. He definitely will be missed.

We spent everyday on the Baseball field, Football or basketball court. In the summers we would camp out in the backyard (get shot at by Freddy with a pellet gun)or in the house playing Atari. We would get up and eat pudding pops in the middle of the night and go to the trails in Burnet Park at 5am to catch rabbits. Never caught any but I cherish all the memories. I'll miss you brother and you will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
