Obituary of Richard Muraski

Richard Muraski, age 77, passed away on October 31, 2023, at his residence in Liverpool. Born in Battle Creek, Michigan, he was the son of the late Alexander Muraski and Trevia Boysen. Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was employed as an electrician with the IBEW Union Local 43 prior to his retirement. Richard’s passion in life was bowling. Recounting the multiple times he bowled a perfect 300 always put a smile on his face. He was also an avid dancer with a special enthusiasm for country line dancing. Those closest to Richard will remember him for his unique and enduring sense of humor.

Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Robert Muraski of Syracuse, John Muraski of North Syracuse, and one daughter, Amie Muraski of West Virginia, in addition to seven grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery chapel on Wednesday, November 8^th at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial donation be made to a local charity of your choice.
