Thomas (Tom) C. Ross was born in Denver, Colorado June 6th, 1958. He then moved to Syracuse NY where he lived for over 20 years and survived by his loving wife Susan Ross, who he married on October 31st, 2003. It is with a heavy heart that he has left us on November 11th, 2023 at 65 years young. He was a beloved father and survived by his kids Russell, Aeryana, Cimiron,Ross and his bonus kid Antoinette Dine, his grandkids Jerimiah, Bradley, and Rebekah Hoffman and his Great-grandkid Bristol Hoffman. He was the 4th youngest of his siblings Russell Ross, Gail Dotson, and Holly Richards. Predeceased by his father William (Bill) Ross, mother Lena (Ruth) Ross, father-in-law James and mother-in-law Anita Conners and Brother William (Alan) Ross. Lastly, his fur-babies Pranzer and Dasher.Tom was a very humble man, an avid collector of many things such as his Hot Wheels and action figures, a passion for fishing, played strategic and racing video games, and a love for all kinds of music. He enjoyed spending time with his family, building model cars or airplanes, Legos, and many various crafts and wood work. If you were looking for him, he would more than likely be found in his model room putting together or modifying a model. He also had his favorite chair that he would finish the day watching TV with his wife or catching a Nascar race or football game on the weekends. He loved making bird houses and painting knick knacks with Bekah. Papa will always be her favorite.Tom worked at Target for many years and created many friendships. He enjoyed stocking the shelves so that he could get a first look at what new Hot Wheels that were coming out and get first dibs. He also was a mechanic for many years with companies such as Good Year and Nobles Tires. He was not afraid to tell you what car not to get.For being a strong, hardworking man, he was very loving and empathetic of others. He always gives big hugs and kisses. If you were having a bad day or felt sad, he was always there to get you through it. He would tell you light hearted stories or try to make you laugh making goofy faces and jokes. Sometimes you couldn’t take him seriously, but he always took his family seriously and did everything he could to provide for them and spend time with them.Tom will never be forgotten. He shared with us beautiful memories of smiles and laughter. Although he is not with us physically, he is always with us in our hearts and watching us every day. He would not want us to cry, but to smile and celebrate the wonderful life he lived.
