Obituary of Rosalyn McHugh

Rosalyn E. McHugh, 74, passed away on November 19,2023 at the Bishop in Syracuse. N.Y.  She was the wife of William H. McHugh.  They shared 53 years of marriage.  

Born in Batavia, she graduated from Bryant and Stratton Business Institute .  She was a loving wife and mother.

She was a member of St. Brigid St. Joseph ( now St. Patrick's) parish.  A Girl Scout Leader And life member of Girl Scouts.  She enjoyed sewing. Making dream catchers, quilling. She will be remembered for her camping trips, Humor, cooking, and strict adherence to rules.  

She was survived by husband William H. McHugh; children, Tamara J. Hauser, Florence Rutherford, Eric McHugh, and Melissa Price.  She had 8 grand children and 3 great grand children.

Calling hours will be from 4-6 pm. at Hollis Funeral Home on Tuesday Nov. 28th.  The funeral service will be at St. Patrick's on North Lowell at 10am on November 29.  

Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers may be made to the Upstate Cancer Foundation.
