Obituary of Theodore A. Michalski

Theodore A.” Ted” Michalski (Mr. T) 84 of Syracuse passed away on Wednesday, February 21,2024, with his loving Nephew and Niece, Michael and Georgianna Bobik, by his side. He was the widower to the late Dorothy (Longbardo) Michalski, his loving wife for over 50 years. Ted was born in Syracuse to the late Valentine and Antonia (Drengel) Michalski. He attended St. Lucy’s and Vocational Schools. In his younger days he owned his own Construction company and was also the owner of Mr.T’s on South Salina Street for many years. Ted and his sister, Catherine, owned Adams West Bar on the West Side of Syracuse. Ted was a member and Usher at The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus and was a 4^th Degree Color Member of The Knights of Columbus Sacred Heart Assembly. He loved Golfing, and the SU Orange. He will always be remembered for his willingness to always help others when in need. He loved to donate to many charities even in his condition he always was looking to help. In addition to his parents, Valentine and Antonia Michalski, Ted was predeceased by his beloved sister Catherine Murray. He is survived by his nephew, Michael (Georgianna) Bobik; brother-in-law, Bernard Longbardo along with many other great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services: Tuesday 9:30 AM in The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus where a Mass of Christian Burial Rites will be celebrated by Rector/Pastor Fr Andrew E. Baranski.
