Dear Family of Chet, Though I never met Chet, I heard many wonderful things about him and all he did selflessly for others from my mother Jo Lukacs. My Mom knew Chet from the Onondaga Senior Center. They had so much fun there, teased each other and they all shared much joy and laughter! My Mom passed away the day after Chet and I’m sure was very surprised to see him in heaven as she did not know he had died. I only found out about Chet’s passing when I contacted Senior Center friends to notify them of my mother’s passing. May your memories comfort you. And may Chet’s soul rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to Chets family I knew Chet from my years in the grocery business when I worked for Chicago Market. Chet was a salesman that use to call on me when he worked for warren Copeland food brokers. I had invited him to my wedding to which he came. I became friends with Chet again at the Onondaga senior center I little over a year ago ,it was so nice to run into him again. He will and is missed by everyone at the senior center. RIP old friend Calvin Voutsinas

Chet was a smile to anyone at the Senior Center that included me. I have no family, but I would have adopted him as a cousin 'quickly' if offered. He provided life experience insight and a willing ear to questions asked.
