Obituary of Jane Rozyczko
Jane Rozyczko, 95, a life-long resident of Syracuse, NY died peacefully on September 22, 2024 at Crouse Hospital.
Survived by daughter Laurie (Andrew) Miller of Hollis, NH; son Donald Rozyczko of Syracuse,
Grandsons; Robert (RJ) Lowery, Jason Lowery, and Elliott Miller; granddaughter Nora Miller; great granddaughter Reagan Diane Lowery; and Special cousin Marie Clements of Lafayette, Colorado.
Predeceased by her husband Albert in 1991; son Stephen in 2004; daughter Diane Lowery (Robert) of Oswego in 2023; father George Drozdz; Mother Sadie (Wadas) Drozdz; and brother Marion.
Jane was retired from the R. C. Diocese of Syracuse, where she worked in the Accounting & School offices.
Jane was a member of St. Charles Parish and was active as a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Funeral Guild and Friends Forever Group. She volunteered at St. Camillus Health Center, Stella Maris Retreat Center and the West Side Seniors. Jane received a papal blessing for her family in May 1987.
Jane loved reading, crossword puzzles, playing dominoes with friends and traveling with Sr. Jean’s travel group at St. Charles, the Geddes Seniors and St. Jude Travel with Fr. Tom.
She touched the lives of many with her friendship, service, and generosity.
Visitation: Thursday, October 3rd, 9 to 10AM in St Charles of Borromeo Church 417 S Orchard Rd Syracuse 13219 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM
Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes
