Obituary of John L Murawski

John Murawski, 91, of Sylvan Beach, passed away 1/5/25. He was born and raised on the West Side of Syracuse to the late Charles and Sophie Murawski. He served in the Air Force as a fire fighter and retired as an electrician from IBEW Local 43. He was predeceased by his wife, Sharon Murawski and his first wife, Mary Murawski;  brothers Joseph, Henry, Edward & Charles, sisters Francis and Helen.  He is survived by his sister Florence Palmieri, children John ‘Jack’, Michael (Judy), Robert (Debbie) and Suzanne (Steve), step-children William Bero (Tina) and Gary Bero; 6 grandchildren,  6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will be Friday 1/10/25, from 3:00 - 4:30 pm at  Hollis Funeral Home, 1104 W. Genessee St, Syracuse with a mass following.  He’ll have a full military burial at a later date.
