March 30, 2015 Shirley A. Joyce 79 of East Syracuse passed away Monday. Shirley was a communicant of Sacred Heart Basilica and was retired from the City of Syracuse Departments of Assessment, Finance and Syracuse Police Department Forensics Division. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Red and son, Edwin Rojek . She is survived by her husband of 27 years Martin Joyce; daughter in law, Theresa Rojek ; granddaughter, Amelia; sister Kathy(Phil) Polak of Alabama. Calling hours: Wednesday 11:30 AM to 12:30PM Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee St Syracuse . Funeral Services: Wednesday 1 PM in Sacred Heart Basilica. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery Lakeland.
