Obituary of Frank J. Majewski

May 11, 2015 Frank J. Majewski, Jr, 79, also known as “Uncle Chick” passed away Monday at Upstate Hospital. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Blanche Majewski, sisters, Laura Stasco, Ann Majewski, Francis Kopytek and Rose Kalisciak and brother, Peter Majewski. Franks is survived by his brother, Joseph S. Majewski and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Frank enjoyed many trips to the Yankee Stadium, Vernon Downs, various casinos, Aruba, and spending time with his family, friends and animals. Frank was employed by International Harvester, City of Syracuse DOT and later in life, The Cathedral Candle Company. Frank’s family would like to acknowledge the staff and nurses at Upstate Hospital, Oncology Dept. 10E, for the compassionate and quality care he received. Memorial Calling hours : Friday 5 to 7pm Hollis Funeral Home, 1105 W. Genesee Street Syracuse and a memorial mass celebrating Frank’s life will be held on Saturday 10AM in Transfiguration Church
