February 10, 2016 Catherine M. Brandt 82 of Syracuse passed away with her family at her bedside on Wednesday. Catherine was retired from the Syracuse City School District . Catherine was National Past President of Navy Seabee Veterans of America Auxiliary, member of Knights of Lithuania #140. She was an avid SU Basketball Fan and loved attending her grandchildren’s activities. She enjoyed travelling but especially enjoyed it when she was going to her camp in Vermont. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Jack Brandt 2007 and is survived by her children; Ann Marie (Charles) Lawton, Stephen ( Joanne) Brandt and Mary K. Larson; grandchildren, Jenna, Robby, Michael, Matthew, Christopher and Elizabeth; several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours: Sunday 2 to 5PM Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W. Genesee St Syracuse. Funeral Services: Monday 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Basilica. Burial: Assumption Cemetery.
