Dear Cyndi, Steve, and family: I have been privileged to offer a weekly Communion Service at Forest View for the residents for over two years. Ann, for some time, was able to attend and when unable, I would go down to her room and bring her the Eucharist and we would pray, when she was able. I last saw her the day after Christmas and offered a prayer of thanksgiving for her life and a prayer for the dying. I enjoyed our small conversations we had over the years and she would recall that my late aunt and uncle, Ann and John Macko, lived across from her on Pulaski St. What a small world. May she, and all our beloved departed, be forever embraced by Our Risen Savior with His presence and mercy. May they rest in peace.
