Parisa was my student in 7th grade in 2003-2004. She was such a wonderful student and fine young woman. Seeing Cindi and Sasha today at the wake brought me to tears on my ride home. After paying my last respects to a girl who i can describe as 1 in a million I have already set in motion a gift I hope the Pourpezeshz family will enjoy from so many years ago. Parisa, you were too good a person for this place!

Parisa's life was both a gift and an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
While our paths crossed but a few times at Unity, I was touched by the songs she brought to the worship services. Her voice had a lovely quality that gave added dimension and beauty to the stories that she sang.
She bravely fought, with unfailing love and support, to live a life of purpose and of joy, even when it could not have been easy.
I like the phrase from above, "Heaven got a little brighter and happier..." Most certainly, it has. I hope that each of us who miss her will hold onto some of that light and joy in our hearts.
Parisa has left an indelible mark with each of us. I hope we will always remember and celebrate her life, especially when our circumstances may not be especially bright.
With love,
-David
