I went to school with Greg at CBA. We ran cross country together freshman year and had classes together. He was a wonderful guy and I remember he ALWAYS made me laugh. CBA had kids from all over Syracuse and that could be a little intimidating for a city kid from a public school. He made me feel welcome at CBA and I'll never forget that. I have a picture of our freshman cross country team, circa 1975 and Greg is in that team photo. If you would like a copy, let me know and I can scan it and send it along. Our 3 children all attended St. Rose school, needless to say we were there often. Greg always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. I am sure his absence will be felt by the entire St. Rose family. We will keep him in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless. The Donovan Family

My heartfelt sympathy to the Mnick clan at this very sad time. Greg had and always will have a special place in my heart. I'm glad I was able to see him and say good-bye for now. I know he is out of pain and probably not only fishing but getting some really good skiing in as well! The one thing I must say about Greg,he would have given the shirt off his back to you if you needed it. Let our memories of Greg warm our heart and knowing he is with God and other loved ones bring us peace. God Bless, Sue

My Uncle Greg will be missed- A man who was made happy by the little things in life- His perfect day wasn't very complicated- just add good friends and good music then sprinkle it with a little sunshine and he was fine... For everyone who reads this post let it be known that he was one of the only people I know that got to heaven after he had already had it on earth- yes thats right- his house on Seneca river was his heaven. No one ever thought he would purchase a home on the river- that his claims were just a fantasy, but he proved us all wrong! Good for you Uncle Greg- I guess your fishin on the big pond now! I hope the seas are calm... Love- Pumpkin head!

To Gregg's family: I worked with Gregg at St. Rose since 1993. He always had a smile and a hello for me everyday. He would greet my Mom in Polish when she would stop bye. He will truly, truly be missed. Please know you and he are in our daily thoughts and prayers. God Bless You Friend!
