January 7, 2012 Shirley Villafane 45 was born on September 9th, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio. She departed this life January 7, 2012 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Shirley was a 1984 graduate of North Ridgeville High School, Ohio and Kent State in 1988. Shirley was a Captain in United States Army and presently was the Native American Education Program coordinator in the Syracuse City School District. Shirley was the Loving daughter of John and Marjorie Villafane of North Ridgeville, Ohio, sister to Anna (Alvin) Salazar of Albuquerque, New Mexico; John (Wendy) Villafane of Lakewood, Ohio, Phillip Villafane and Michael Villafane. She was Aunt to her niece and nephews Ella, Kevin, and Joseph. Fiance, Lidscha (Larry) Arbakow Services celebrating Shirley’s life will be held Saturday 10:00AM, January 14, 2012, at Pearlbrook Baptist Church 11100 Snow Road Parma Ohio 44130 ( across the street from Amrap Road). Services in Syracuse NY will be held at a time to be announced.
