March 20, 2012 Raymond Sapka 82 of Lakeland passed away Tuesday after a long illness. Raymond was Navy Veteran of the Korean war, he retired in 1990 after 28 years at New Process Gear Chrysler. Raymond is survived by his wife of 40years, Margy (Tompkins) Sapka; daughters, Betsy(Wayne) Sams, Bonnie Sapka, Kari(Chris) Attaway; son, Kevin Kimball; 7 grandchildren, John and Ryan Kosecki; Dennis and Sarah Kimball, Chelsea and Jessica Attaway and Sammy Sapka ;2 great granddaughters, Christina and Cooper Kosecki; 2 great grandsons; Stacy and Harrison Kosecki; nephews, Steve (Chris) Sapka and Raymond(Pat) McEnery. Raymond was a very caring, loving and giving person who always put everyone first before himself. All his friends and family will miss him dearly and so will his dog “Soccer” and 2 cats, “Sophie” and “Stormy”. Calling Hours: Sunday 4 to 7PM with Services following at Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W.
