Obituary of Walter Piotrowski

March 26, 2012 Walter Piotrowski, 85, of Westvale, passed away March 26, 2012. Walter was born October 1, 1926, to John and Josephine Piotrowski. He was the owner of Port Byron Hotel. Walter was a graduate of Sacred Heart Grammar School. He graduated CBA after returning from WWII and was in the first graduating class of Le Moyne College before leaving for the Korean War in 1950. Walter was a Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans Post 14 for 64 years, life member of the VFW and member of the Syracuse Polish Home. Walter was a communicant of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Walter was predeceased by his beloved companion of 15 years, Victoria C. Suletti, and is survived by his son, Daniel of Camillus; sister, Jeanette (Richard) Szymanski; brother, John of Florida; cousins, John of Liverpool and Helen Mashaw of Liverpool; and many nieces and nephews.
