Obituary of Eugene C. Bognaski

August 12, 2012 Eugene C. Bognaski, 84, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012. He was currently a resident of Sunnyside Care Center and previously Wynwood of Manlius. He was a former railroad employee, having spent 45 years working for the New York Central and Penn-Central Railroads, as well as Amtrak. Gene was a Corporal serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Sacred Heart Assembly. Gene was predeceased by his wife, Marie in 1992 and surviving are his three sons, Joe of Duluth, GA, Gerard of Greenbelt, Md., and Mark of Oneida; a brother and sister-in-law Edward and Jane Bognaski, granddaughters Jenna, Julia and Catie.
