Obituary of Stanley L. Korzeniewski

March 3, 2009 Stanley L. Korzeniewski, 85, of Syracuse, New York, passed away on Tuesday. Stan was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard during World War II serving with the Merchant Marines in the South Pacific Theater. He was passionate sailor, a founding member of Hobie Cat Fleet 204, Director and Board Member of the Syracuse Blazers, avid golfer, and enthusiastic stock trader. Stan was the founder and original owner of Liverpool Heating Inc., and established the Buckley Road Car Wash/Four Seasons Car Wash located in N. Syracuse and Liverpool. Stan was a dedicated father, grandfather, son, and brother who always put his families needs foremost. Stan is survived by loving wife of 57 years, Agnes Ryan Korzeniewski of Syracuse, with five children, Anne (Richard) Anderson of Liverpool, Jean (Thomas) Arnault of Melbourne, Fl., Thomas (Susan) Korzeniewski of Liverpool, Mary K. “Mimi” (David) Appel of Navarino, and James Korzeniewski of Syracuse. Stan has six grandchildren, Robert O’Connor, Amy O’Connor Pinter, LCPL.Adam Korzeniewski, USMC, Marie and Katie Appel, Erika Korzeniewski, and one great-grandchild, Teagan O’Connor. In addition, sisters Virgina Majka, and Mary Rose D’Angelo survive Stan. Calling Hours: Thursday, March 5th, from 3-7 P.M. at Hollis Funeral Home Syracuse. Funeral Services: Friday, March 6th, 9 A.M.
