Obituary of Sandra B. Hooser

Sandra B. Hooser, 79, of Mattydale, passed away on March 13, peacefully, with her family by her side, after a short and courageous battle with an illness. Sandra was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to Clifford and Elizabeth Skinner. She later moved to the Syracuse area with her husband James. Sandra was a homemaker and outstanding cook who enjoyed Sunday dinners with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. Her kindness and unconditional love will be cherished forever by her family and friends.Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Elizabeth Skinner and her brother Norman Skinner.Surviving are her husband of 48 years, James, daughter Andrea (Jeffery) Maines, son James and brother Richard (Gary).Family and friends may call Thursday March 23, 2017 from 4:30 to 6:30PM, immediately followed by a funeral service, at Hollis Funeral Home 1105 W.
