Obituary of Lisa Sue Bogin

Lisa Sue Bogin passed away peacefully at Francis House on November 25, 2017 following a long illness. She was born in 1945 in Newton, MA and adopted by Sally and Izzy Friedman. She was predeceased by her forever missed daughter Julie and is survived by daughter Renee, beloved grandchildren Harsha, Brianna and Melia, and sisters Ellen Stone and Carol (Robert) Martin. Lisa came to Syracuse at age 18 to study English and Theater at Syracuse University, and participated in the city's cultural arts for the next 54 years. Service is December 9, 10:30am at All Saints Syracuse, followed by 11:30am gathering there to celebrate Lisa’s love of life, art, spiritual faith, and social justice.
