Obituary of Philip W

November 8, 2013 Philip W. Lynch, 77, passed away Friday 11/8/2013 from a longtime illness at St. Luke Health Service Oswego. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Doreen who he met and married 57 years ago. Son, Tony and daughters; Susan Collins (Lawrence), Kelly Dauler (John) ,Julie Knapp (Randall), Cathy Brackley (Dennis) and his 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Phil worked in the transportation field most of his working life. He was past president and man of the year for the T.C.C.N.Y. He loved to travel with Doreen. He also generously donated his body to S.U.N.Y Upstate anatomical gift program. Family has requested, instead of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. In Phil's name, a memorial visitation to celebrate Phil's life will be held Saturday, November 16th,2013 at Hollis Funeral Home 1105 West Genesee Street Syracuse. The Family thanks the nurses and staff at St. Luke for the wonderful care given to him. Phil was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
