So sorry for your loss of Mr Husak. I would love to tell you my heartfelt story of the man I knew as a kid and how he helped me and many other kids at the Hamilton Street Boys and Girls Club. "Mr Husak, Mr Husak!", as we kids called him all the time at the Hamilton Street Boys/Girls Club back in the day was very much loved and a very kind man to all the boys and girls! There are times when I reflect on my childhood and think back on him (believe it or not) because he was such a good guy to not only me but my 5 other siblings and all the other kids at the club who needed a place to go to stay off the city streets. He really loved us all like we were his own kids. He provided a safe fun haven for us kids at the Boys and Girls Club. I'll always remember when he gave me and 3 of my other siblings a ride home (multiple times) to keep us safe and because it was a very cold winter night. He did not want us to walk in the cold winter night by ourselves either. I wish more people could be like Mr. Husak was - kind and good hearted. I'm so happy to get the opportunity to say this as I always wish I could have seen him again to let him know how much his generosity meant to me as a high needs city kid and to keep me safe off the streets at the Boys and Girls Club. He really made a difference to many kids on Tipp Hill!
