My sincerest condolences go out to Gary, Heather, Marlene, Christopher, and the rest of Mary Ellen's family. Gary and Heather ... She loved and adored you both, and would do anything in the world for you. She was so proud of both of you.
I honestly have never met a kinder, wiser, more generous and spiritual person in my life. Her life was ALWAYS about giving to and helping others.
She was the wisest person I ever knew ... about life and people. We had the best talks, and she was always enlightening me. She was a hard worker, and was a real asset to Niagara Mohawk.
I feel so sad that she has left us, but I will never, ever forget her.

I have no words to describer how Much i will miss Mimi. coming from Africa with no English we couldn't say her name Mary Ellen, so we started to call her Mimi. which he love it . we became a family the moment we met at Most Holy Rosary. Mimi and Marlene became our grandmother in this new country with new culture, we spend all the holidays and summer with them. they introduce us to the American culture they taught us everything from eating all kind of American food, all the house party we did at Mimi's house during the holidays, swim lessons, pool party at Marlene's house, taking us to doctor appointments and many more. Mimi and Marlene knows me and my siblings more than anyone. Mimi was the most wonderful person i have known. i am very lucky to have known her, she taught me and my sibling a lot. she have a very special place in my heart and we will miss her very much. she is our angel watching over us. love, Alice
