Wally was a teacher in my department at Port St Lucie High School and he was one of the most beloved teachers I've ever known. Most years he taught British Literature to seniors . . many of whom were just putting in their time until they could graduate . . but Wally had a way of reaching them with his wonderful personality and wit , , and they learned in spite of themselves. He loved his work and his students and he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him Judith Cocoves Fleming

Mr. Tomas was my English Teacher at Port Saint Lucie High School my Senior year in 98/99. I always looked forward to his class on the days I had it. He had a great sense of humor, never failed to make us laugh, had a great relationship with us Students and whenever he would tell a story we all paid full attention. It's very sad to hear that he left this Earth and future generations won't benefit from his Wisdom. Thank for being such an amazing Teacher Mr. Tomas! Rest In Paradise!
