September 5, 2015 Mary Jane Kalil of Manlius entered heaven to dance with the angels surrounded by peace and her loving family on Saturday, September 5, 2015. She was born on January 3, 1944 to Assed & Mary Kalil. The youngest of 6 children, she was raised in Liverpool and graduated from Liverpool High and CCBI. She retired from Niagara Mohawk after 39 years and was awarded Woman of Distinction. She taught diversity & sexual harassment, volunteered at Vera House, Jowonio, United Way and was a board member of Exceptional Family Resources. She had an unwavering faith & was a communicant, lector, Eucharistic minister & religion teacher at St. Ann’s Church. Everyone she touched knew that faith, family, music & dance were her passions. She was preceded by her sister Jane (Oscar) Pearsall, Peggy (Louis) Fire & brother Fred Kalil. She is survived by her children Kimberly Kalil, Dale (Jennifer) Hendrix. Situ to her grandchildren, Joshua, Joseph, Jordan, Gabrielle, Parker & Serena. Also survived by her sister and loving caregiver Joyce Wells, her brothers AJ (Audrey) Kalil, Joseph (Elizabeth) Kalil, sister in law Mary Kalil and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, SEPTEMBER 9,2015 from 4-8pm at St. Ann’s Church 104 Academy St. Manlius. Funeral services will be Thursday 9/10/15 at 10am at St. Ann’s Church with a Christian burial at St. Mary’s in Dewitt.
